oh man...
i think "global warming" is the wrong term sending off bogus implications about the earth becoming hot. i think the real concern is "climate change." and i think cars are one of the least important reasons to "go green." alternative fuel would be nice or even alternative engines designed to make the same fuel packed with more punch as it would facilitate travel and transport and boost industry. oil companies can lose lots of money, close plants, have mass layoffs but there will always be jobs as long as there is SHIT TO DO. it's like getting laid off from a paper animation studio. you reeducate and apply your insane skills to computer animation. the only concern for auto companies is people realizing everything they need is within walking distance.
and holy crapfarm! if you start giving out sterilizing birth control crap you can subversively commit mass genocide!!! the potential dangers by far outweigh the positives.
if the concern is producing women who can finish their education before pregnancy, then how about we CHANGE THE EDUCATION SYSTEM!!! by the age of 16 people should be halfway through college/university training. there is SO MUCH BULL in the school system it blows my mind.
all the talk about saving the future has to start with saving (brainwashing) the children. you breed children to change the world and they will. early pregnancies? what else do you expect from people who spend 12 goddamn years in daycare? eff me.
